The Pulsar Model R80 is the first 80 GHz FMCW Non-Contact Radar transmitter from Magnetrol. More importantly, it is the transmitter with the innovations today’s process industries need.
Improved Performance
The 80GHz radar signal has a narrower wavelength allowing for smaller antennas and improved resolution. The smaller antennas allow installation into a process connection as small as 3⁄4”.
Powerful Microprocessor
Offers significant memory for exciting useful features, including:
- Volumetric Capability with nine common tank shapes and a 30-point strapping table for uncommonly shaped vessels
- Data Logging that can be programmed to save data/echo curves on event- or time-based conditions
Introducing Magnetrol Model RCX Hygienic Antenna for use with the Pulsar Model R80 80GHz Non-Contact Radar level transmitter. Field proven in the industrial markets, the release of the new Hygienic Model RCX Antenna now allows the Model R80 transmitter to be utilized in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and other Life Science applications requiring CIP/SIP cleanability and a 15 Ra surface finish.
Key highlights of using the new Model RCX Hygienic Antenna with the Model R80 Transmitter:
- Equipped with a graphic LCD featuring an easy-to-navigate menu structure
- Includes a graphical DTM with increased diagnostics (compatible with PACTware)
- Volumetric capability and a 30-point strapping table for uncommonly shaped vessels
- SIL 2 suitable with FMEDA report
- 316/316L SS probe with Tri-Clamp process connections and 15 Ra surface finish
- Complete with standard documentation required by the FDA for use in cGMP facilities
